This has been a long tradition at St.  Peter's, which is the centerpiece of church's decoration during the Advent and Christmas season.  Each year before Advent a group of KOC members get together and put a large wreath around the crucifix behind the altar of the church. It is a one-of-a-kind wreath especially made for St. Peter's Church. People come from other communities to see it.

First Communion and Confirmation are celebrated with the youth of our parish and their families.

Graduation - This is usually held in the first part of May on a Sunday before Mass. We want to celebrate the youth of our parish that will be graduating from high school, and moving on to the next chapter of their lives. The immediate family and the grandparents are invited to join us for Mass.

The Knights lead the rosary in the park across from St Peter's.

Join together for our annual  spring and fall cleaning days, usually held on a Saturday.  The Altar Society  and Youth Ministry partner together and can use your help to clean the church and grounds.

This is the St. Peter's Altar Society's big fundraiser for the year. It is held in the spring. Every member of the church is asked to provide a salad, desert, or a monetary donation. Members are also asked to help serve or work that day at the dinner. Letters are handed out by the spring dinner committee. Youth members are asked to help serve that day. The Knights of Columbus help with clean up. Many hands make the work easy and enjoyable.

This is a community wide event to help the less fortunate in our area. Each year the churches in Stanton take turns in organizing the donated items into gift boxes that are distributed to the families in need . A tree is displayed in the community that has tags that list suggested items for a person, which are purchased by the person who selects that tag, and then are brought back to church and then distributed to that person.
